Denotification of sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Villages Devarabeesanahalli, Bhoganahalli and Doddakanahalli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka; - S.O.595(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 18th March, 2011 Denotification of sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Villages Devarabeesanahalli, Bhoganahalli and Doddakanahalli, District Bangalore in the State of S.O.595(E).- WHEREAS, M/s. Adarsh Prime Projects Private Limited, a private organisation, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Villages Devarabeesanahalli, Bhoganahalli and Doddakanahalli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka; AND WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 27.91 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1632 (E) dated 28th September, 2006; AND WHEREAS, M/s. Adarsh Prime Projects Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 9.50 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 21st September, 2010; AND WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby denotifies an area of 9.50 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 18.41 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE S.
