Ministry of Corporate Affairs Notification No. GSR 833(E), Dated 4-12-2008, New Delhi, the 4 th December, 2008 Subject:- Offences against Act to be cognizable only on complaint by Registrar, Shareholder or Government GSR 833(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 621 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the following officer in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the purposes of filing and conducting prosecution under the Companies Act, 1956: 1. Smt. Sunita V. Langstieh, Senior Assistant Director.
