In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Transitional Product Specific Safeguard Duty) Rules, 2002 , and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.65/2009-Customs (NT) issued vide G.S.R.No. 416(E) dated the 15th June, 2009 , the Central Government hereby appoints Ms. Indrani Dutta Majumder as the Director General (Specific Safeguard) for the purposes of the said Rules.
