Import Classification of second hand marine containers /ADVANCE COPY/ TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART-II, SECTION-3, SUB SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 10 /2002-2007 NEW DELHI : 12 th July, 2002 S.O (E) - In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 2002-2007 published on 31 st March, 2002 as amended from time to time, namely- at the end of Chapter-86 of the said ITC(HS) Classification of Export Import items, 2002-2007, a new import licensing note shall be inserted as follows:- " Import licensing notes : (1) The Exim entry under ITC(HS) Code No. 86090000 in this Chapter shall also include "second hand marine containers" and imports thereof shall be free.
