MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th March, 2008 S.O. 741(E).- Whereas M/s. Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Kalwara Village, Tehsil Sanganer, District- Jaipur (off Ajmer Road), in the State of Rajasthan; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, has notified the total area of 76.10 hectares at Kalwara Village, Tehsil- Sanganer, District-Jaipur (off Ajmer Road), in the State of Rajasthan as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification No. S.O. 546(E) dated 10th April, 2007 of Ministry of Commerce and Industry; And whereas M/s. Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited has proposed to include an additional area of78.92 hectares at Kalwara Village, Tehsil-Sanganer, District-Jaipur (off Ajmer Road), in the State of Rajasthan as a part of that Special Economic Zone; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (1 0) of Section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at the said Kalwara village, Jaipur on 24th January, 2005; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (l) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Cen tral Government hereby notifies an additional area of 78.92 hectares at Kalwara village, Tehsil-Sanganer, District- Jaipur (off Ajmer Road), in the State of Rajasthan, as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely: Total Area: 78.92 Hectare [F.No. 2/135/2005-EPZ] ANIL MUKIM, Jt.
