Superseded vide Notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated 01/03/2011 - Effective rate of export duty on all items other than iron ores lumps, fines and pellets and de-oiled rice bran cake Notification - Customs - Cus Export duty on iron ores and concentrates, all sorts (except iron ore fines) NOTIFICATION NO. 79/2008 DATE 13/06/2008 G.S.R. 458(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts 1 [iron ores and concentrates, all sorts (except iron ore fines)], falling under Heading No. 11 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when exported out of India, from so much of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said Second Schedule as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 2 [15% ad valorem.] [F. For the words and commas "iron ores and concentrates, all sorts," the words, commas and brackets "iron ores and concentrates, all sorts (except iron ore fines)," has been substituted vide Notification No. 117/2008 dated 31/10/2008 2. Substituted vide Notification No. 130/2008 dated 7/12/2008 , before it was read as "15% ad valorem", further substituted vide NOTIFICATION NO. 147/2009-Cus, dated 24.12.2009 , before it was read as, " 5% ad valorem" , further amended the figures and words "15% ad valorem vide Notification No. 56/2010-Customs, dated 29.04.2010 ., before it was read as, " 10% ad valorem"
