Central Government has specified .75% NABARD Tax Free Bonds of rupees ten thousand each u/s 10 (15)(iv) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 - 399/2002 - Income TaxExtract Central Government has specified .75% NABARD Tax Free Bonds of rupees ten thousand each u/s 10 (15)(iv) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 NOTIFICATION NO. 399 Dated 23rd December. 2002 In exercise of the powers conferred by item (h) of Sub-clause (iv) of clause (15) of Section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies 6.75% NABARD Tax Free Bonds of rupees ten thousand each, issued by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, (NABARD), Mumbai during 2002-2003, carrying an interest of 6.75% per annum, for a period of five years for an amount of rupees one thousand crores only, with following details: - Amount (Rupees) Distinctive No. (i) Rupees one thousand crores 0000001 to 1000000: Provided that the benefit under the said section shall be admissible only if the holder of such bonds registers his name and the holding with the said Bank.
