To set up a multiproduct Special Economic Zone at Chengarnbakkam, Appaiahpalem, Gollavaripalem, Mallavaripalyam, Aroor, Moporapalle villages at Satyavedu and Vardayya Palem Mandals in the State of Andhra Pradesh. MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 11th July, 2008 S.O.1670 (E) - Whereas M/s. Satyavedu Reserve Infracity Private Limited, a private organization in the State of Andhra Pradesh, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a multiproduct Special Economic Zone at Chengarnbakkam, Appaiahpalem, Gollavaripalem, Mallavaripalyam, Aroor, Moporapalle villages at Satyavedu and Vardayya Palem Mandals in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 read with rule 8 of the Special Economic-Zone Rules 2006, has notified the total area of 1022.264 hectares at Chengambakkam, Appaiahpalem,,Gollavaripalem, Mallavaripalyarn, Aroor, Moporapalle villages at Satyavedu and Vardayya Palem Mandals in the State (of Andhra Pradesh. as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce Industry Notification no. S.O.1581 (E) dated 20th September, 2007; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under subsection (8) of section 3 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 and other related requirements are fulfilled; And whereas M/s. Satyavedu Reserve Infracity Private Limited has proposed for the transfer of the approval to M/s. Sri City Private Limited at Satyavedu and Vardayya Palem. Mandals in the State of Andhra Pradesh and the Central Government after considering the said transfer proposal approved it and conveyed such transfer of approval on 28th January, 2008; And whereas Central Government approved additional land of 486.31 hectares and 28.93 hectares in the notified multi-product Special Economic Zone of Satyavedu Reserve Infracity Private Limited and conveyed such approval on 10th March, 2008 and 21st May, 2008 respectively; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 515.358 hectares at Cherivi, Gollavariaplem, Aroor, Chengambakkarn, Mallavaripalem, Mopurapalle and Appaiahpalern villages, Satyavedu and Vardiahpalarn Mandal in the State of Andhra Pradesh as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely; - Total Area: 515.358 Hectare.
