Central Government specifies the Karnataka State Vigilance Commission, Bangalore u/s 138 (1)(a)(ii) NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.259 DATED 23-12-1983 In pursuance of sub-clause ( ii ) of clause ( a ) of sub-section (1) of section 138 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the Karnataka State Vigilance Commission, Bangalore, or any officer specifically authorised by the commission in this behalf for the purposes of the said sub-clause.
