French Minister of Economy and Indian Finance Minister Discuss Issues of Bilateral Interests French Companies are Invited to Invest in India in Infrastructure Sector : FM

French Minister of Economy Ms. Christine Lagarde called on Union Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his office, here today. Both the leaders discussed matter of bilateral interests including investment and trade among others. Finance Minister, Shri Mukherjee told his French counterpart that there is lot of scope for French companies for investment in India especially in infrastructure sector. 

Beside above, both the leaders also discussed general global economic situation including issues of Euro crisis among others. Both the leaders also discussed the issues relating to G-20 as France is taking over as the Chairman of G-20 Forum in 2011.
