EPCG Export Obligation, Customs - Exim - SEZ

Dear sir,

We have import machine under EPCG. we are producing goods but not exporting.

Please advice if we can fulfill 100 % export obligation through third party.

kindly suggest way out.

Dear Sir,

As per my view, export obligation can be fulfilled through third party export as per para 5.7.1 of Handbook of Procedures-Vol.-I.

yes, third party export is admissible.but you have to intimate the exporter to mention your company name in shipping bill as "supporting manufacturer"for the product you supply them.

without this you are not eligible to discharge export obligation.

Incase of export thru third party is allow to meet fulfill of export obligation. as and when you prepare ARE#1 , your lic number should be mention on ARE#1, and as suggested by Chetan to make sure your name is appear as supporting manufacturer on SB.
