i am in line with the reply of Sh.Govindarajan Sir. Prawn is with HSN 03 and GST rate is 0. Nil rate and is exempt. The person supplying goods which are nil rated or exempt, he is not required to get registered under GST.

But there would be some taxable item for sale. May be gunny bags, old asset sale etc. which attracts GST. Hence, GST registration would be required.

If the main goods or services are exempted then allied products like packing and other ingradients also exempted. Pls correct me if wrong

If the finished goods is exempt then the packing material in which the goods is parked is exempt. But if the supplier is having any torn out packing material which are scrapped. Then GST is applicable on the scarp sale of taxable items.
