They further submit that there are a few other writ petitions in which the petitioners have sought transfer and/or further investigation by the CBI. PIL (CWP) No. 20359 of 2013 filed by one Shri Shashi Kant, Retired Director General of Police(Prison) seeking an independent investigation into the drug trafficking rackets in the State of Punjab is one such petition filed before the High Court. In addition, civil writ petition no. 12 of 2014 filed by Jagmeet Singh Brar, CWP No. 825 of 2014 filed by Pratap Singh Bajwa and CWP No. 3560 of 2014 filed by Simranj .....

..... f Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana to direct listing of the writ petitions mentioned above including (PIL) CWP No. 20359 of 2013 and all criminal miscellaneous applications together with other similar writ petitions connected therewith before an appropriate Bench for an early hearing and disposal in accordance with law. Learned counsel for the petitioners, at this stage, submit that since the matters are being referred to a Division Bench with a direction to hear and dispose of the writ petitions, they would withdraw the special leave petitions filed by them and approach the Division Bench for grant of bail, if so permitted by this Court. We see no reason to decline that permission. We accordingly dispose of the special leave .....
