2014 (3) TMI 1050 - HC - Indian LawsLocus standi to file appeal - petitioner is a ration card holder made certain complaints against the fourth respondent - Held that - Since the matter is seized by the first respondent, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the first respondent within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The petitioner filed a writ petition seeking direction for disposal of an appeal and stay petition. The 4th respondent did not object to the appeal being considered but questioned the petitioner's locus standi. The court directed the first respondent to decide on the appeal within two months.
