Summary

The Supreme Court modified its previous order regarding restrictions on construction and industries in Coastal Regulation Zone. All restrictions and regulations must be followed by the concerned States. A central authority and authorities in coastal States/union territories may be constituted under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
