2019 (1) TMI 1790 - SC - Indian LawsRefund of moneys which are due and payable under the impugned order of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission - HELD THAT - The closed and the execution proceedings before the NCDRC shall stand withdrawn. In the event of default, the appellant shall lose the benefit of this order and the order passed by the NCDRC shall stand. Appeal disposed off.
The Supreme Court of India, in a case involving refund of money to purchasers, ordered that the amount due be refunded with 10% interest within four weeks. If payment is made as agreed, all claims will be closed, and execution proceedings withdrawn. In case of default, the appellant will lose the benefit of the order. The civil appeals were disposed of with no costs.
