Analysis: The High Court of Bombay, in the present matter, noted that the disputes between the plaintiffs and defendant no.5 have been settled as per the Consent Terms dated 11th March 2021. It was informed to the Court that defendant nos. 1 to 4 have been removed as parties to the suit under the Consent Terms. The Consent Terms were signed by the authorized signatories of both parties and their respective resolutions were annexed to the Consent Terms. The Court acknowledged the signing of Consent Terms by the parties' advocates and accepted any undertakings mentioned in the Consent Terms as given to the Court. Regarding the decree, the Court decreed the suit in accordance with the Consent Terms and directed the expeditious drawing up of the decree. No costs were awarded, and any refund of Court fees was to be done as per the Rules. As a result of the suit being decreed, the Interim Application No.2500 of 2020 and No.2501 of 2020 were found to have no further purpose and were disposed of accordingly. Lastly, the order specified that it would be digitally signed by the Private Secretary/Personal Assistant of the Court, and all concerned parties were instructed to act upon receiving a digitally signed copy of the order via fax or email. This comprehensive judgment effectively resolved the issues at hand, finalized the settlement between the parties, and concluded the legal proceedings in a systematic manner.
