2017 (7) TMI 1419 - SCH - Indian LawsInterpretation of statute - Section 18 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 - HELD THAT - The interpretation placed by the High Court on Section 18 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, in the impugned order, with reference to arbitration proceeding is fully justified and in consonance with the provisions thereof. All other matters dealt with in the impugned order are not relevant for the adjudication of the present controversy, and need not be examined - SLP dismissed.
The Supreme Court upheld the High Court's interpretation of Section 18 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006, in relation to arbitration proceedings. The Court dismissed the special leave petition and stated that other matters in the impugned order are not relevant for the present case.
