2019 (11) TMI 1780 - HC - Indian LawsGrant of bail - It is contended by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was granted bail in main offence - It is also contended that after lapse of eight years a complaint has been filed, wherein court has summoned the petitioner by non-bailable warrants - It is also contended that an application was moved under Section 70(2) of Cr.P.C. seeking conversion of arrest warrants into bailable warrants but the said application was dismissed by the court. HELD THAT - Issue notice to complainant respondent.
The Rajasthan High Court granted bail to the petitioner in the main offence. A complaint was filed after eight years, and the court summoned the petitioner with non-bailable warrants. The petitioner's application to convert the warrants to bailable was dismissed. The court issued notice to the complainant respondent and ordered that arrest warrants should not be executed in the meantime.
