Valuation addition of barge hire charged after unloading from Mother Vessel Since the goods crossed the customs barrier, the barge hire charges are not includible in the assessable value of the imported goods.

The Supreme Court dismissed the civil appeal regarding barge hire charges not being includible in the assessable value of imported goods like iron ore. (Citation: 2008 (3) TMI 27 - SC)
