2000 (1) TMI 71 - SC - Central Excise

The Supreme Court upheld the order for a pre-deposit of Rs. 30 lakhs as a condition for hearing an appeal. The appellant was given six weeks to make the deposit, failing which the appeal dismissal would stand. The appeal was disposed of with no costs.
