The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai granted waiver of pre-deposit of differential duty in an appeal involving imported Gambier. The Commissioner (Appeals) rejected the appeal without providing a speaking order, leading to the appeal being allowed and remitted back for a fresh decision.
