1987 (4) TMI 323 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi heard two appeals together regarding the liability of cotton chindies for handloom cess. The Tribunal upheld that no handloom cess was payable by the respondents based on a previous decision. The appeals were dismissed, and a notice issued in 1981 was discharged.
