The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi allowed the appeal of M/s. Karnataka Electricity Board against the order of the Collector of Central Excise (Appeals). The Tribunal dispensed with the pre-deposit of duty amount of Rs. 1,11,778 and directed that revenue authorities should not pursue recovery proceedings during the appeal.
