1998 (7) TMI 163 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai allowed the modification of a stay order to dispose of plant and machinery by executing a bank guarantee for Rs. 1.00 lac. The Tribunal modified the stay order to lift the restriction on disposal of the confiscated items upon execution of the bank guarantee.
