1999 (7) TMI 195 - AT - Customs

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi, ruled that the benefit of Notification No. 29/79-Cus. is available for stamping foils used in leather industry. The Tribunal rejected the Revenue's appeal as stamping foils were considered as pigment finishers for leather based on evidence from the Central Leather Institute.
