1939 (8) TMI 24 - HC - Companies Law

The Official Liquidator filed a petition seeking appointment of a receiver for Kamal Shoe House's assets due to suspected conspiracy to defraud creditors. Depositions under Section 195 of the Indian Companies Act were obtained, but the Liquidator cannot claim conspiracy based on them. Defendants requested copies of their depositions, granted with restrictions on sharing. Costs to be paid by the company. (Case: 1939 (8) TMI 24 - High Court of Calcutta)
