The High Court Chancery Division, in the case of Boxco Ltd., ordered the restoration of the company's name to the Register of Companies. The company had been struck off the register due to default in making returns, but later attempted to create a legal charge on certain property. The court, considering the company's solvency and lack of subsequent charges, granted the order retrospectively, allowing the company to be put in the same position as if the legal charge had been duly created and registered.
