Rule 4 - Disqualification - Delhi Value Added Tax Appellate Tribunal (Qualifications, Salaries, allowances and other conditions of service of Members) Rules-2009

4. Disqualification (1) No person- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person shall be eligible for appointment as member. Provided that the Lieutenant Governor may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule. (2) No person shall be eligible for being appointed as a member if he is less than forty years of age as on the last date for receipt of applications specified in the advertisement referred to in sub-rule (2) of rule 7.
