Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Companies (Passing of Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2011

The Companies (Passing of the resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2011 G.S.R. .. (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 192A read with clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1) of section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, in supersession of Companies (passing of the resolution by postal ballot) Rules, 2001 namely:- 1. Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Companies (passing of the resolution by postal ballot) Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette.
