Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Foreign Exchange Management (Adjudication Proceedings And Appeal) Rules, 2000

G.S.R. No. 382(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 read with sub-section (1) of section 16 , sub-section (3) of section 17 and sub-section (2) of section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules for holding enquiry for the purpose of imposing penalty and appeals under chapter V of the said Act, namely :- 1. Short title and commencement - (1) These rules may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Adjudication Proceedings and Appeal) Rules, 2000 . (2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of June, 2000
