2. Definitions. In this order, unless the context otherwise requires:- (a) "Act" means the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992); (b) "Import Trade Regulations" means the Act and the rules and order made thereunder and the export and import policy; (c) "Rules" means the Foreign Trade (Regulation) Rules, 1993; (d) Words and expressions used in this Order and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
