Rule 38 - Copying fees. - Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 1982Extract RULE 38. Copying fees. — Copies of documents relating to a case/ order/ cause list may be supplied on request, on payment of the prescribed fees: (1) Photocopies of whole or part of an order sheet may be supplied on payment of the prescribed fees to the appellant/respondent or their authorised representative. (2) In case of reported as well unreported orders, the copies may be supplied to journals on payment of an amount prescribed by the President for payment on annual or half yearly basis. (3) Photocopies of cause lists may be supplied to the authorised representative on payment of the prescribed fees and to the departmental representatives without fees, if so requested. (3) Copying fees shall be payable in cash in advance. (4) No fee is required to be paid by any departmental authority connected with the matter in question before the Tribunal.
