Definitions. 2. In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) Act means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) ; (b) Appendix means an Appendix annexed to these rules; (c) All other words and expressions used in these rules but not defined, and defined in the Act shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
