MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27 th March, 2015 G.S.R. 235(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution , and in supersession of the Settlement Commission (Income-tax/Wealth-tax) (Recruitment and Conditions of service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules, 2000, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed as Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members of the Settlement Commission (Income-tax/Wealth-tax), namely :- 1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Settlement Commission (Income-tax and Wealth-tax) (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
