Amendment of section 47. 20. In section 47 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- Provided that the court may, on a complaint made by an Aadhaar number holder or individual take cognizance of any offence punishable under section 34 or 35 or 36 or 37 or 40 or section 41. .
