8. Fee of resolution professional. (1) Where the corporate debtor fails to file an application or the application for initiation of the process is rejected, the fee payable to the resolution professional for performing duties under sub-section (3) of section 54B shall be borne by the corporate debtor. (2) The corporate debtor shall maintain a separate bank account with such amount as may be advised by the committee from time to time and, subject to provisions of clause (23C) of section 5, such account shall be operated by the resolution professional to meet his fee and expenses incurred by him for conducting the process.
