Amendment of section 125. 48 . In section 125 of the principal Act, after sub-section (1), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely: (1A) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), if any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act as amended by the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023, the Central Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act as may appear to it to be necessary for removing the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made under this section after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023. .
