THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR REORGANISATION ACT, 2019 ACT NO. 34 OF 2019 [ 9th August, 2019 .] An Act to provide for the reorganisation of the existing State of Jammu and Kashmir and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventieth Year of the Republic of India as follows: PART I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title. This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019.
