23. Amendment of Section 80T In section 80T of the Income-tax Act, in clause (b), with effect from the 1st day of April, 1972, - (a) in sub-clause (i) for the words forty-five per cent. , the words thirty-five per cent. shall be substituted; (b) in sub-clause (ii) and in the proviso, for the words sixty-five per cent. , wherever they occur, the words fifty per cent. shall be substituted.
