CHAPTER V MISCELLANEOUS 50. Amendment of Act 2 of 1899 In the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899), in Schedule I, in the column headed Proper Stamp-duty , with effect from the 1st day of July, 1985, - (a) in article No. 14, for the words Twenty-five naye paise , the words One rupee shall be substituted; (b) in article No. 37, for the words One rupee , the words Two rupees shall be substituted.
