CHAPTER III AMENDMENTS TO THE WEALTH-TAX ACT, 1957 59. Amendment of section 5. In section 5 of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957 (27 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the Wealth-tax Act), in sub-section (1), after clause (vi), the following clause shall be, and shall be deemed to have been, inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1965, namely:- (via) the right of the assessee to receive any annuity payable by the Central Government under the provisions of section 280D of the Income-tax Act; .
