CHAPTER III AMENDMENTS TO THE WEALTH-TAX ACT, 1957 7. Amendment of section 2. In section 2 of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957 (27 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the Wealth-tax Act),- (a) after clause (oa), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- (oaa) registered valuer means a person registered as a valuer under section 34AB; ; (b) for clause (r), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- (r) Valuation Officer means a person appointed as a Valuation Officer under section 12A, and includes a Regional Valuation Officer, a District Valuation Officer and an Assistant Valuation Officer; .
