11. Amendment of section 40A. In section 40A of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (5), in clause (b) of Explanation 2, (a) in sub-clause (iv), the word and shall be omitted; (b) in sub-clause (v), for the words an annuity , the words an annuity; and shall be substituted; (c) after sub-clause (v), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely: (vi) the amount treated as a perquisite under sub-clause (vi) of clause (2) of section 17. .
