56. Amendment of section 17A. In section 17A of the Wealth-tax Act, in Explanation 1, after clause (ii), the following clause shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of October, 1984, namely: (iia) the period (not exceeding sixty days) commencing from the date on which the Wealth-tax Officer received the declaration under sub-section (1) of section 18C and ending with the date on which the order under sub-section (3) of that section is made by him, or .
