The Supreme Court agreed with the petitioner's grievance that the High Court did not address mandatory requirements and granted indulgence to the respondent(s) based on extraneous considerations. However, due to the respondent(s) being senior citizens who cooperated during the investigation, the Court declined to interfere in the case, leaving the question of law open. The impugned order will not set a precedent for other cases. The special leave petitions were disposed of, and any pending applications were also disposed of.
