2023 (12) TMI 241 - SCH - SEBI

Issues involved:

The Supreme Court dismissed Special Leave Petitions under Article 136 of the Constitution, stating that the impugned orders of the High Court were of an interlocutory nature. The Court allowed parties to pursue remedies after the final judgment of the High Court.

Details of the judgment:

The senior counsel for the respondent assured the Court that all material directed to be disclosed by the High Court would only be used for the pending proceedings before the High Court and not shared with any third party.

Given that the orders of the High Court in question were interlocutory, the Supreme Court declined to entertain the Special Leave Petitions under Article 136 of the Constitution. However, the parties were granted the liberty to seek remedies as per the law once the final judgment of the High Court is delivered.

Consequently, the Special Leave Petitions were dismissed by the Supreme Court, and any pending applications were disposed of accordingly.
