INSTRUCTION NO. 905/CBDT Dated : December 18, 1975 Attention is invited to Board's Instruction No. 720 dated the 22nd July, 1974 (F.No. 328/60/72-WT) and Instruction no. 840, dated the 7th June, 1975 (File No. 328/60/72-WT). 2. The question whether the outstanding fees of lawyers should be exempted from tax is under Board's consideration. The Board, therefore, desire that the assessments in which this issues arises may be kept pending until further instructions from the Board. 3. This may please be brought to the notice of all the Wealth-tax officers working in your charge, for necessary action.
