Filing of consent of candidate for directorship with company ‑ Whether it is obligatory for nominated director to file consent with company - Companies Law - Letter : No. 8/21/(264)/61‑PR,Extract Letter : No. 8/21/(264)/61 ‑ PR, dated 22 ‑ 1 ‑ 1962. Subject:- Filing of consent of candidate for directorship with company ‑ Whether it is obligatory for nominated director to file consent with company In view of the fact that the Government would not nominate an unwilling person to the office of a director, and no useful purpose would be served by such a person filing his written consent with the company in addition to the consent that would be filed by him with the Registrar pursuant to section 264(2), it is not obligatory for such nominated directors to file written consent with the company under sub‑section (1).
