SECTIONS 303 307 Register of Directors and their Shareholdings Subject:- Register of directors ‑ Whether register can be maintained in loose ‑ leaf form Although this Department is of the view that the register of directors, etc., prescribed by section 303 should be in bound books, it considers that no objection need be raised if a company finds it more convenient or necessary to maintain the register in the loose‑leaf form provided the company takes all possible safeguards against manipulation, tampering or interpolation of the registers and arranges for the binding up of the loose‑leaf books at reasonable intervals, as in the case of minute books maintained by large companies under section 193.
